What You Need for Your Role

Meet the Team

You will need a team with multiple roles to implement the Healthy Relationships Toolkit (HeaRT). You may even have one person who serves multiple roles.

PREVENTION LEAD
  • Manages HeaRT at the community level
  • Builds partnerships to start and sustain violence in adolescence prevention efforts

COACH
  • Provides training, supervision, and support to facilitators of the youth and parent programs
  • Hires youth and parent program facilitators and secures facilities and program materials

PARENT PROGRAM FACILITATOR
  • Provides parents with positive parenting skills
  • Helps parents talk about safe, healthy relationships

YOUTH PROGRAM FACILITATOR
  • Educates youth about healthy and unhealthy relationships
  • Empowers youth to listen and trust their instincts

i2i PROGRAM FACILITATOR
  • Provides training, supervision, and support to brand ambassadors of the i2i program
  • Hires brand ambassadors and secure facilities and program materials

i2i BRAND AMBASSADOR
  • High school students selected and trained to implement i2i
  • Commits to spending around 6-8 hours per month on i2i activities in exchange for volunteer experience
